The first ever Inter-Service Cross Channel Relay Race took place on Wed 01 August 2007 and was a huge success with all teams finishing within 15hrs.
We had a fantastic time and smashed our £10,000 target by raising £16,000 to split between our two chosen charities.

We had some fantastic publicity both before and after the event including articles, photography, video and a live interview with the BBC. Click the links to the left to see some of our coverage.
Channel Eagle has two elements; the team event and solo attempt. We had live web updates as the swims were happening with more than 5000 hits from all over the world coming in to watch as things unfolded.
The next Channel Eagle will take place in 2009 with a relay team from each service; Army, Navy and RAF, racing across the English Channel to win the Channel Eagle Cup. The time to beat is 11hrs 06mins set by the Navy.
