open to serving personnel although these events are not necessarily exclusive to the military.

With Army Open Water Swimming being such a new sport there will be many of you out there who have never tried it before and, of course, we can’t guarantee you will enjoy it when you do have a go...but...there probably aren’t many of our growing band of converts who thought we would like it, let alone enjoy the challenge and experience as much as we do!!

Some of these events require swimmers to have Category 2 membership of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). 

Miliitary swimmers can apply for discounted ASU membership through the OWS rep.
